  • Back from Tucson.

A grueling, yet fun several days in Tucson wrought a bounty of new materials to get the creative juices flowing.  Of course majestic pearls; yummy.   Stones of all varieties, but I'm partial to ruby and earthtones.  Couldn't resist some Turquoise and some Black Jade mined in Northern  Arizona which I got from the miner himself.  He ingeniously fashions the materials into all manner of beads.  I bought some raw Black Jade which I will bring to my metal studio and see about incising...The weather, as promised, was divine, in the 70's daily.  In past years rain hampered the search...  It's good to be home...
